Founded in 1927 After Backwards by the ubiquitous New Venice Boreemian scenesters Ekto Liouven  & Alexis Norton, Piqsiporq Records has been the starting point and catalyst of the Nippie Northern Noise scene. Luminaries such as Sandy & the Sandmovers, Lilian Lenton & the Lodestones, the Furry Fruits, the Lords Strange's Men and the Sun Dogs, to name a few, have all cut their teeth and grooves on this legendary label, synonymous with uncompromising sounds and total artistic freedom. In its new incarnation, Piqsiporq is more than ever a household name for radical bands that define the thriving creativity our city is famous for...at least among ourselves.
